A Day of Christmas

Saturday, December 14

1:00-6:30 p.m.

Get into the holiday spirit with a whole afternoon of Christmas events offered by the Macedon Public Library and the Town of Macedon Recreation Department! All events will take place at the library or just outside the library building.

Here’s what we have in store for you:

1:00 p.m.: We’ll be showing How the Grinch Stole Christmas … with a live appearance from the Grinch himself!

2:00 p.m.: The barbershop quartet Notably Yours will gift us with a Christmas concert of holiday favorites.

3:00 p.m.: Follow up our barbershop quartet concert with Celtic-inspired Christmas faves from Alternate Sundays.

4:00 p.m.: Santa arrives by sleigh!

4:15 p.m.: We’ll have holiday refreshments and kids’ activities in the Library’s Community Room; outside there will be free sleigh rides (make sure you dress appropriately for the weather!)

5:55 p.m. Lighting of the Christmas tree on the hill outside the Library.

6:00 p.m.: Sing along to all the classic Christmas songs with live musical accompaniment by Kathie and Denny Brunner.
