Take advantage of our December Kid Time offerings to do a bit of holiday shopping, or just to rest with a cup of coffee at the library for an hour or so. On December 18, we’ll be showing The Muppet Christmas Carol, followed by an activity such as Lego building, craft projects, or board games. Note that there will NOT be a movie on December 25 because we’re closed for Christmas. Pal-Mac intermediate students will need to have a parent send a letter of permission to be released to the library directly from school.
As only they can, the Muppets bring their special brand of humor and heart to a retelling of the classic Charles Dickens tale, The Christmas Carol. Ebenezer Scrooge, a miser and generally miserable old man, (played by Michael Caine), is held accountable for his dastardly actions by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future.
