Take advantage of our December Kid Time offerings to do a bit of holiday shopping, or just to rest with a cup of coffee at the library for an hour or so. On December 11, we’ll be showing Max for children in grades three through five, followed by an activity such as Lego building, craft projects, or board games. Pal-Mac intermediate students will need to have a parent send a letter of permission to be released to the library directly from school.
Max is the story of a German Shepherd who is a war hero—and a marine. When his beloved handler Kyle is killed in the war, Max struggles to cope until he returns and meet Kyle’s brother, Justin. Justin and his family adopt Max, and their lives will never be the same. Rated PG, 1 hour, 51 minutes.
