Learn American Sign Language, Part 1

Wednesday, October 2

6:30 p.m.

Did you know that American Sign Language (ASL) was created in the early 19th century? Since then, it has proven itself a vital and growing language for people who are deaf or have difficulties with their hearing—as well as their families. At this presentation, you’ll join Judy Buckley to learn the basics of ASL. Adults and teens age 14 and up are welcome to attend. Please call the library at 315-986-5932 or stop by to register.
