New DVDs: Thursday, April 4

Good Burger 2

Calling all dudes to buckle up, because the new adventures of Ed and Dex start now! Your favorite fast-food duo is back and serving up nostalgic laughs and new antics in Good Burger 2. Follow Dexter Reed and original cashier Ed as they reunite in the present day at fast-food restaurant Good Burger with a hilarious new group of employees. Dexter is down on his luck after another one of his inventions fails. Ed welcomes Dex back to Good Burger with open arms and gives him his old job back. With a new crew working at Good Burger, Dex devises a plan to get back on his feet but unfortunately puts the fate of Good Burger at risk once again.

Double Blind

When an experimental drug trial goes horribly wrong, seven young test subjects, after being kept awake for days, must face the terrifying side effect of the drug: if you fall asleep you die. Trapped in an isolated medical facility, they desperately try to find a way to reverse the side effects of the trial, as one by one they succumb to sleep and death. Panic quickly takes hold and they to turn on each other. It’s left up to Claire, the group’s unlikely leader, to keep them together, find a way to escape, and somehow manage to stay awake.

Day By Day: The Rise & The Dynasty

The chase for a national championship win began in 1973 for Tom Osborne, when he was named the head coach of the Nebraska Huskers on the back of repeat national titles in ’70 and ’71. It would take 21 years before the Huskers would reach the goal that the fans, the team, the state of Nebraska, and Coach Osborne lived and breathed. Amid the triumph, a more significant struggle brewed off of the field. Crippled by controversy and dropped to their knees with tragedy, the Nebraska Husker program defied all odds by winning three National Championships in 4 years.
