Sierra Six
Before he was the Gray Man, Court Gentry was Sierra Six, the junior member of Zack Hightower’s CIA Special Activities team, Golf Sierra. Court’s skills were undeniable. In their first mission they took out a terrorist leader. The prize was invaluable; the cost was agonizing. Now, years have passed. The Gray Man is on a simple mission when he sees a ghost: the long-dead terrorist, though he’s remarkably energetic for a dead man. A decade of time hasn’t changed the Gray Man. Whatever the cost, he isn’t one to leave a job unfinished or a blood debt unpaid.
An Impossible Imposter
London, 1889. Veronica Speedwell and her natural historian beau, Stoker, are summoned by Sir Hugo Montgomerie, head of Special Branch. He has a personal request on behalf of his goddaughter, Euphemia Hathaway. After years of traveling the world, her eldest brother, the heir to Hathaway Hall, Jonathan, was believed to have been killed in the catastrophic eruption of Krakatoa. But now a man matching Jonathan’s description has arrived at Hathaway Hall with no memory of his identity. Could this man truly be Jonathan, back from the dead? Or is he a devious impostor, determined to gain ownership of the family’s most valuable possessions — a legendary parure of priceless Rajasthani jewels?
Moon Witch, Spider King
From Marlon James, author of the bestselling National Book Award finalist Black Leopard, Red Wolf. In Black Leopard, Red Wolf, Sogolon the Moon Witch proved a worthy adversary to Tracker as they clashed across a mythical African landscape in search of a mysterious boy who disappeared. Now, Sogolon takes center stage and gives her own account of what happened to the boy, and how she plotted and fought, triumphed and failed as she looked for him. It’s also the story of a century-long feud — seen through the eyes of a 177-year-old witch — that Sogolon had with the Aesi, chancellor to the king. It is said that Aesi works so closely with the king that together they are like the eight limbs of one spider. Aesi’s power is considerable — and deadly. It takes brains and courage to challenge him, which Sogolon does for reasons of her own.
