If you or someone you know is in need of the now mandated boating safety class, consider registering to take the class from the National Coast Guard Auxiliary. The class will lead to safety certification as is mandated by Brianna’s Law. This law requires all operators of motorized watercraft to complete a state-approved boating safety course by the year 2025.
The class will be offered in a hybrid format. Participants will do some reading before the virtual class is offered on Monday, July 13th at 6:30 pm. The cost to participate will be $25. If two or more people in the same household take the class and can share the book, it will only cost $15 for each additional person. The cost will also only be $15 for participants under the age of 18.
