In Julia’s craft demo, she referred to a handy website for more information on how to make paper beads, including different shapes to cut for a variety of beads. However, she was remiss in specifically giving the address and sharing her screen to show what was on the site. Here is that information:
https://BigBeadLittleBead.com/guides_and_information/guide_to_making_paper_beads.php
The page starts out with a little history of paper beads and then goes into the process and what’s needed. At the very bottom, there is even a downloadable PDF with the same information, so you can refer to it anytime.
And I just want to second one of the warnings listed at the bottom of that website: Paper beading is highly addictive! If you make any beads, and especially if you make any jewelry with your beads, we’d love to see pictures. You can email them to Julia directly at jkoberlein@pls-net.org or to our Director, Stacey, at macedonlibrarydirector@owwl.org.
