Join author Maureen “Mo” Piles for a reading of her newest book, Who Could I Be? The story talks about 47 different career ideas, and is appropriate for children between the ages of four and ten years old. To complement the book, there will be a variety of local people on hand to talk to children about their own career choices. We will have a nurse, a doctor, a police officer, a lawyer, a scientist, elected officials, a personal trainer, an illustrator, a vet, a priest, a banker, and a fireman.
The Wayne County Business Council has agreed to sponsor healthy snacks for this event. The Council hopes it will motivate youngsters to begin considering all of the many career opportunities there are!
