Help your kids escape from the doldrums of winter by bringing them to our Kids Time programs on Wednesday afternoons in February. We’ll enjoy a fun, family-friendly movie followed by an activity such as Lego building, craft projects, or board games. Note: Pal-Mac intermediate students will need to have a parent send a letter of permission to be released to the library directly from school.
On Wednesday, February 12 we’ll be showing Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’hoole.
Soren, a young barn owl, is kidnapped by the owls of St. Aggie’s, ostensibly an orphanage, where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga’Hoole, to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie’s. PG; 1 hour, 37 minutes; 2010.
