Kids’ Time

The holidays are past, the kids are restless, and you have a list of chores to do as long as your arm. Get a start on that list and make the kids happy by dropping them off at our Kids Time program, each Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. On January 8, we’ll be showing The Angry Birds Movie Two for children in grades three through five, followed by an activity such as Lego building, craft projects, or board games. Note: Pal-Mac intermediate students will need to have a parent send a letter of permission to be released to the library directly from school.

In this week’s movie, after saving Bird Island from a green-pig invasion, the isle’s cranky hero, Red, finds himself doing battle with Pig Island. As the war between pigs and birds is raging, massive icy projectiles coming from Eagle Island threaten the security of both havens, unless Red and King Leonard agree to form a truce. Now, Red, Bomb, Mighty Eagle, Chuck, and his sister, Silver, join forces with Leonard’s mighty porcine team to thwart Zeta’s schemes for world domination. Rated PG; one hour and 37 minutes; 2019.
