Needlework—from crocheting to cross stitch to hemming a pair of pants—is generally a solitary activity, but wouldn’t it be nice to have some like-minded friends to share your project with, along with a good chat? That’s what Needlework & Niceties is all about. If you have a project your working on, bring it down to the library and spend an hour working on it in our comfortable lounge chairs. It’s a chance to meet new people and get good positive feedback on your projects, while sharing a discussion on whatever takes your fancy. If you like, you can even make a cup of coffee in our Keurig pot to sip on while you’re chatting.
