Do you have a brown thumb? Do houseplants wither and die under your loving care? No worries! We’ve got the perfect work-around for you. All you need is a crochet hook and a few simple supplies, and you can create a cute little plant for a windowsill or end table that will never die, and will look fresh and inviting for years.
Shannon Thurston will be teaching this class, and it’s suitable for those without any previous crocheting experience.
Here’s what you’ll need to bring:
–green yarn of your choice (or any color you’d like your cactus to be.
–brown yarn of your choice.
–Crochet needle that’s appropriately sized for your yarn
–mini terra cotta clay pot (you’ll find them at Walmart and Lowes).
–and, if you’d like (it’s optional) tiny black buttons, pink blush or eye shadow, a small scrap of pink felt, and tiny yellow and orange buttons.
We’ll supply the stuffing for these cute little cacti.
