Have you ever felt uneasy about your computer skills? All around you people seem to know what they’re doing with programs like Microsoft Word and Powerpoint, but you’re not sure even where to start.
At Macedon Public Library, we’ve partnered with Finger Lakes Community College, with funding secured for us by Senator Pam Helping, to offer a series of four workshops on the three most frequently used Microsoft programs. In these workshops, you’ll learn the basics for using the word processing program Microsoft Word, as well as how to create spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel and professional presentations using Microsoft Powerpoint. In our final class, you’ll put it all together and learn practical applications for these software tools.
Participants who complete all four classes will receive a certificate of completion from FLCC. There is NO CHARGE for this program, and no need to bring a laptop—we will supply the computers.
There are only 15 spaces available in this series, so call the library now at 315-986-5932 to reserve your space.
