On D-Day, what could be more appropriate than learning about this special program that honors our veterans? Honor Flight is a national non-profit organization, with a branch in Rochester, dedicated to providing veterans with honor and closure. The group’s signature program helps veterans who served prior to 1964 and those who have suffered illness to fly to Washington, D.C. In our nation’s capital, they are treated with honor while they visit and reflect together at our country’s national monuments and memorials.
Learn more about this worthwhile program from an Honor Flight representative, whether you are a veteran or not, at our presentation. You’ll learn how the program works and how you can get involved.
