Did you know that the Macedon Library has two bread machines that can be checked out? They come with directions, so even if you’ve never made your own bread before, you’ll have all the help you need.
You may think that making your own bread is complicated and messy, but it doesn’t have to be. All you need, basically, are four ingredients: flour, yeast, salt and water. With a bread machine, you don’t need to worry about kneading the dough or getting the timing right. And in the hot weather of summer, a bread machine can make your bread without heating up the kitchen. What could be better?
