Did you know that Mahjong is not an ancient game, as many people believe? It was not developed, in fact, until the mid-19th century, and is based on Chinese draw-and-discard card games that were adapted to tiles.

The game spread rapidly once it was developed, though, and on April 5, you have a chance to try it out yourself at the Macedon Public Library. Whether you are an expert player or have never tried the game, you’re welcome to join the Mahjong group to learn and practice this engaging game.

No reservations are necessary, and we’ll supply all the equipment needed. All you have to do is join us!
