By the time they are in middle school, children are eager to learn how to manage the money they’ve accumulated from small jobs or their allowance. At this session, led by financial educator Karen Dean of Reliant Community Federal Credit Union, they will learn how to buy, save, and donate their hard-earned money.
Thanks to funding from the Friends of the Macedon Public Library, the children will enjoy a pizza lunch while they learn age-appropriate financial concepts such as how to open a savings account.
There is no cost for this event. Please call the library at 315-986-5932 to register, or add your child’s name to the sheet at the library. Space is limited, so sign up today.
