This March, Macedon Public Library will show a family-friendly movie every Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., followed by an activity. We especially invite public and homeschooled children in grades three to five to join us. There is no charge, and no reservations are needed.
Here are this month’s movies:
March 7
The Lorax
A 12-year-old boy searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.
March 14
Big Hero 6
A special bond develops between plus-sized inflatable robot Baymax and prodigy Hiro Hamada, who team up with a group of friends to form a band of high-tech heroes.
March 21
The Seeker
A boy’s life is turned upside down when he learns that he is the last of a group of immortal warriors who have dedicated their lives to fighting the forces of the dark.
March 28
Maleficent
A vengeful fairy is driven to curse an infant princess, only to discover that the child may be the one person who can restore peace to their troubled land.
