Mahjong is a fascinating draw-and-discard game developed in China in the 19th century. It’s played with a set of 144 beautiful little tiles stamped with Chinese characters and symbols, and it’s totally addictive. Once you play this game of strategy and skill, you’ll be hooked.
At Macedon Public Library, we play Mahjong every Thursday at 2:00 p.m. All skill levels are welcome—even if you’ve never played before, we’ll be glad to teach you the basics. In the month of March, we’ll be playing on these dates:
- Thursday, March 1
- Thursday, March 8
- Thursday, March 15
- Thursday, March 22
- Thursday, March 29
Please join us at 2:00 p.m. on the Thursdays of March. You don’t need to bring anything except an active mind. We’ll supply the tiles and the company of other players. No reservations needed, just show up!
