You may have signed an advocacy letter online in February before Advocacy Day on March 1, and if you did, we thank you very much!
Now we are asking you sign on to a new letter explaining that state library funding is non-negotiable. Currently, both Houses are recommending Construction Aid be restored. The Senate is also recommending an increase in non-construction state aid that is $8 million more than the Governor proposed (thank you to Pam Helming and all the Senators who have given a strong voice of support to library funding this term). Please help us to secure these needed increases.
Click “Keep Investing in Libraries, Keep Investing in New Yorkers” and sign the latest digital letter so you can let your voice be heard in support of library funding! It will only take a minute, but if enough people speak up, it will make a very positive and important impact!
