Lost Ark Dreaming

Off the coast of West Africa, decades after the dangerous rise of the Atlantic Ocean, the region’s survivors live inside five partially submerged, kilometers-high towers originally created as a playground for the wealthy. Now the towers’ most affluent rule from their lofty perch at the top while the rest are crammed into the dark, fetid floors below sea level. Three lives within the towers are pulled to the fore of this conflict: Yekini, an earnest, mid-level rookie analyst; Tuoyo, an undersea mechanic; and Ngozi, an egotistical bureaucrat from the highest levels of governance. They will need to work together if there is to be any hope of a future that is worth living—for everyone.

Swiped

Gwen Turner has made a bloody mess of her life. She turns to a dating app to help fill the void in her life. Swiping left and right on what few eligible bachelors there seem to be in town, spending her evenings out on one disastrous first date after another. But when a string of murders begin to happen in her small coastal English city, each of the victims have one thing in common: they’ve all been on a date with Gwen. Before Gwen knows what’s happening, she finds herself the main suspect in a serial killer’s murderous spree, and the only way she can clear her name is to track down her former dates and unmask a killer before it’s too late.

Forget Me Never

Olivia Andrews is locally famous for her blog and podcast, “Forget Me Not: A Crime Victim’s Storyboard,” which is dedicated to telling the stories of victims of crime. But she is killed by a hit-and-run driver while she’s out jogging early one morning. Was it an accident—or something else? Her sister wants to know. And Olivia’s friend China Bayles also wants to know, urgently. Who is the prominent citizen Olivia was about to expose? And when there’s another murder … well, it has to be a part of the same story, doesn’t it? And so does the scrapbook a cousin has compiled to honor the memory of one of the victims and make sure she won’t be forgotten. It might hold the answer—except that the one person whose face China wants to see has been scissored out of every photo.
