New DVDs: Wednesday, September 14

The Macedon Public Library is fully open for in-person visits. Computers are available and the Discovery Room is also open. Masks are strongly encouraged for all patrons, even if you have been vaccinated. We will continue to offer “Grab and Go” services for those who prefer to place their books on hold online and then pick them up in the cabinet outside the library.

Here are a few of the new DVDs that have come in to the library recently. We invite you to check them out!

Minions: The Rise of Gru

In the heart of the 1970s, amid a flurry of feathered hair and flared jeans, Gru (Oscar nominee Steve Carell) is growing up in the suburbs. A fanboy of a supervillain supergroup known as the Vicious 6, Gru hatches a plan to become evil enough to join them. Luckily, he gets some mayhem-making backup from his loyal followers, the Minions. Together, Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and Otto, a new Minion sporting braces and a desperate need to please, deploy their skills as they and Gru build their first lair, experiment with their first weapons, and pull off their first missions.

Titans: The Complete Second Season

In season two, following the aftermath of their encounter with Trigon, Dick Grayson reforms the Titans. Under his supervision in their new home at Titans Tower, Rachel, Gar, and Jason Todd train together as a team. Although these original Titans attempt to transition into a regular life, when old enemies resurface everyone must come together to take care of unfinished business.
