The Macedon Public Library is fully open for in-person visits. Computers are available and the Discovery Room is also open. Masks are strongly encouraged for all patrons, even if you have been vaccinated. We will continue to offer “Grab and Go” services for those who prefer to place their books on hold online and then pick them up in the cabinet outside the library.

Wolf Hound
Featuring action sequences using vintage aircraft, this thrilling WWII epic shows how one man’s courage can change the world. On a recon mission over Germany, pilot David Holden is shot down along with a B-17 bomber. He lands near an airfield, where he learns the Germans are loading the U.S.-marked aircraft with a city-destroying superbomb that could help the Axis win the war. Now, Holden must evade search patrols and a vengeful Nazi soldier to rescue the captured crew and stop the doomsday plot.
The Beatles: Get Back
The Beatles: Get Back is a 2021 documentary series directed and produced by Peter Jackson. It covers the making of the Beatles’ 1970 album Let It Be (which had the working title of Get Back) and draws largely from unused footage and audio material originally captured for the identically titled 1970 documentary of the album by Michael Lindsay-Hogg. The docuseries has a total runtime of nearly eight hours, consisting of three episodes between two and three hours, each covering roughly weekly periods of 21 days of studio time. Jackson characterised the miniseries as “a documentary about a documentary”. Get Back received critical acclaim for its coverage of the group’s creative process.
Hotel Portofino: Season One
Set in the beautiful backdrop of Mussolini’s Italian riviera in 1926, Hotel Portofino tells the story of matriarch Bella Ainsworth, who wants her eponymous hotel to be a home from home for wealthy English travelers. As well as demanding guests, she struggles to contend with an errant husband and being blackmailed by the local fascist politician.
