The Macedon Public Library is fully open for in-person visits. Computers are available and the Discovery Room is also open. Masks are strongly encouraged for all patrons, even if you have been vaccinated. We will continue to offer “Grab and Go” services for those who prefer to place their books on hold online and then pick them up in the cabinet outside the library.

The Crown: The Complete Fourth Season
The fourth season covers the time period between 1979 and 1990, is set during Margaret Thatcher’s premiership, and introduces Lady Diana Spencer. Events depicted include the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, their 1983 tour of Australia and New Zealand, the Falklands War, Michael Fagan’s break-in at Buckingham Palace, Lord Mountbatten’s funeral, the Princess of Wales’s appearance at the Barnardo’s Champion Children Awards, and Thatcher’s departure from office.

Walker
This reimagining of the long-running series Walker, Texas Ranger, stars Jared Padalecki as Cordell Walker, a widower and father with his own moral code. Upon returning home to Austin, Texas after being undercover for nearly a year, he attempts to reconnect with his creative and thoughtful son, August and his headstrong, rebellious teenaged daughter, Stella. At work, Walker’s former colleague, Larry James, is now his ranger captain and both men need time to adjust to their new dynamic. Walker finds unexpected common ground with his new partner, Micki Ramirez (one of the first women in Texas Rangers’ history).
