What is a “Girls Who Code” Club?
Girls Who Code (GWC) Clubs are spaces where kids in grades 3-5 can join our community of supportive peers and use computer science to change the world. When you join a Club, you will learn by reading excerpts from our books (Learn to Code and Change the World & The Friendship Code), practice new skills by completing fun and simple online coding tutorials, and build community through interactive activities with the rest of your Club.
Girls Who Code is a nationally recognized organization that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. Even though the Club name mentions girls, our Club is open to everyone in Grades 3-5 who wants to learn and have fun!
What Will I Learn?
Our 3rd-5th grade Clubs help build the foundational skills and understanding of computer science concepts and community through a reading discussion and coding activities. In order to build the skills you need to make an impact, you will learn how to code from our fun online tutorials and activities that will help you build fun projects to share with friends and family.
Can I Join?
Yes! Whether you’re a beginner or a computer master, you are invited to join us!
The Club size will be limited to no more than 12 members, so make sure to save your spot. If there is enough interest, we might be able to make 2 clubs.

Open House & Orientation: Saturday, October 2nd at 1:00 p.m. — Learn more about our club and sign up on the official GWC website.
Regular Club meetings will follow, every Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
