How to Sell Yourself or your Business With an Infographic (online class)

Tuesday, February 2, 2021

2:00-3:00 p.m.

Do you want to stand out and differentiate yourself? Whether you are a job seeker, a freelancer, or a business owner, using an infographic is an eye-catching alternative to a standard resume or bio.

The brain processes pictures faster than text. By using an infographic, you substitute words with images. Instead of text on a page, you convert important information like your qualifications, skills, and achievements into graphs and charts.

During this 4-part online workshop, you will create an infographic you can use to supplement your resume or business bio. You’ll see examples, learn basic graphic design principles and walk through the steps to create an infographic you can use to promote yourself or your business. What You Will Learn?

  • Session 1: What information goes into your infographic to highlight your qualifications and unique value proposition
  • Session 2: Build an outline and wireframe for your infographic
  • Session 3: Begin creating your infographic using one of several free online infographic tools
  • Session 4: Complete your infographic and learn where and how to use it to sell yourself
