When: between now and October 26
Where: pick up your pumpkin at Macedon Public Library
Why: to have some fun and support a great cause!
On October 30, Macedon Public Library, in partnership with Literacy Volunteers of Wayne County, is sponsoring a Pumpkin Walk where families can stroll past 50 carved pumpkins and vote on the best one. For the children, we’ll also have a story time with treats and a free book.
Where do you come in? We want YOU to carve a pumpkin! We’ll supply the pumpkin, and you supply the cutting tools and your own creativity. Your pumpkin will be displayed on the 30th, along with a sign advertising your business, non-profit organization, or just yourself, if you wish.
You can register for a free pumpkin online, and pick it up when it’s convenient for you. Why not join the fun!
