Is there any better Christmas present then a new book? We don’t think so.
Come do some Christmas shopping at the Pittsford Barnes & Noble TOMORROW, December 18 (or any day from the 18th through the 23rd), and a portion of your sales in the store or cafe will be donated to the Friends of Macedon Public Library.
All you need to do is show a library voucher or logo sticker at the cash register to ensure your purchases count. You can pick up a voucher or sticker at the library or at Barnes and Noble the day of the event.
The Friends will be on hand tomorrow from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and we’d love to have you participate in the following activities at the store:
5:00-8:00 p.m.: free gift wrapping, with a snowflake ornament made on our Glowforge 3-D printer to embellish the gift.
5:00-8:00 p.m.: Christmas Trivia: spin the wheel, answer a question, and win a small prize!
5:00-8:00 p.m.: Find the Pocket Lady and get a chance to choose a prize from one of her many pockets.
5:30-5:45 p.m.: We’ll read Blue Truck’s Christmas out loud to all the children attending.
5:45-7:00 p.m.: Santa Claus and MacRibbit the Frog will arrive to meet the children! Use your cell phone to take a picture of your child with Santa and MacRibbit. If your children wish, they can tell Santa what they want for Christmas.
6:30-7:00 p.m.; Assemble and decorate Santa Claus earrings (supplies limited; this is first come, first served)
7:00-8:00 p.m.: make gorgeous beaded icicle ornaments for your Christmas tree.
