Did you know that our Thanksgiving holiday is rooted in English traditions that date from the Protestant Reformation? Or that Thanksgiving is a national holiday in three countries: the U.S., Canada, and Liberia?
Perk up the conversation at this year’s holiday meal with some little known facts about Thanksgiving, related by our good friend and frequent presenter, Jack Kowiak. Many time honored traditions related to Thanksgiving are not connected to the Pilgrims, but are from some other surprising sources. This will be an eye-opening presentation made possible with funding from Friends of Macedon Public Library.
