November brings colder weather and a desire to hunker down somewhere warm and do something fun—like watch a movie!
On November 13, we’ll be showing The Angry Birds Movie for children in grades three through five in November, followed by an activity such as Lego building, craft projects, and board games. Pal-Mac intermediate students will need to have a parent send a letter of permission to be released to the library directly from school.
Movie summary: In this animated comedy, we’ll finally find out why the birds are so angry. The movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds. In this paradise, Red (Jason Sudeikis), a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Josh Gad), and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride) have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to. 2016. Rated PG. One hour, 37 minutes.
