Eastman Rochester New Horizons Clarinet Choir Concert

Wednesday, May 8

6:30 p.m.

The Clarinet Choir is an ensemble in the Eastman School of Music New Horizons program.  It originated nearly 25 years ago when five people—the entire clarinet section of the newly-formed New Horizons Band—began meeting on their own to practice.

The band is made up of about thirty clarinets, whose variety and range encompasses the full range of a piano keyboard. Dr. Alan Woy will conduct a concert filled with a variety of musical selections guaranteed to appeal to people of all ages. Come and find out the amazing range of music a clarinet choir is able to play beautifully!
