Preschool aged children are invited to hunt for eggs along the library’s “Storybook Trail.” The trail is located along the canal at Lock 30. As parents walk along the trail with their child(ren), they can enjoy reading 1 Is One by Tasha Tudor. The book was specially selected to blend in with the natural surroundings along the canal and is a fun way to learn counting skills. In the event of a hard rain, we’ll relocate to the library. You can reach the Lock off of 31F a bit north of the intersection with Route 31 at 1 Canal Park, Macedon. There’s ample parking and the trail is easily walkable.
There’s no fee to attend, but we ask that you let us know if you’re coming by calling the library at 315-986-5932 or stopping by.
