The distinctive sounds of Irish music have been captivating people for centuries, both on the Emerald Isle and abroad. Those unique sounds are made by instruments found nowhere but in Ireland, and now you can find out more about them in this hands-on session. You’ll have the chance to listen to traditional tunes played on the penny whistle and bodhran (Irish drum), and then try your hand at them yourself. All ages are invited to join the creativity and the fun! Please call us at 315-986-5932 to register, or stop by the library to let us know you’ll be coming.
