In this program geared for youngsters ages 4 through 12, we’ll read aloud the book Stranger in the Woods by Carl R. Sams II and Jean Stoick, about a snowy mystery in the woods. This book, which has five stars on Amazon, uses delightful photographs to tell the story of new creature who shows up in the woods one day, and the reactions of the animals to this mysterious newcomer. The authors are professional wildlife photographers who won numerous awards for this charming children’s book.
After reading the book, we’ll move on to making a bird feeder for the fine feathered friends who show up in your backyard every day. Please call the library at 315-986-5932 to register, or stop in and sign the registration sheet by the circulation desk. There’s no charge—all materials have been donated through the generosity of the Friends of Macedon Public Library.
