Join us for a showing of the 2016 Oscar-winning movie, Hacksaw Ridge. The movie tells the story of Desmond T. Doss, a medic and conscientious objector who, at the Battle of Okinawa, showed incredible bravery and high regard for his fellow soldiers. We see his upbringing and how it shaped his views, as well as his trails and tribulations after enlisting in the U.S. Army and working to become a medic. Doss became the first man in American history to receive the Medal of Honor without firing a shot.
Please note that this movie is rated R for scenes of violence on the battlefield. Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult to view the movie. There is no cost to watch the movie.
