Please Send a Letter

To all of you who have taken a couple of minutes to do this: THANK YOU!

If you have not let your voice be heard, please note this year is a particularly important year for people who support libraries to speak out loud and clear.  With the threat of NEA cuts at the Federal level and the targeting of New York State libraries for cuts that set us back into funding levels of the 1990s, we need all library supporters to let the Governor and legislature know want them to stop targeting the only institution in the state that provides education to all ages and stages of life, regardless of economic status and with a mission to preserve democracy while providing the educational scaffolding that empowers social mobility and economic prosperity for all.
