Visit the Discovery Room

Bring your child to visit the Discovery room for a fun outing!  Children will delight in playing with the library’s wooden kitchen complete with lots of pretend food, dishes, pots and pans.  They may choose to dress up like a chef or pretend to be a police officer or one of many other careers with our costumes and hats/helmets.  There are even new items, on a rotating basis, in our child-sized exploration table.  These new additions to the library’s Discovery Room join our other fun and educational toys stowed away in the drawers beneath the benches parents and caregivers an sit on as their child plays imaginatively for hours.  New additions to the room have been made possible by a grant funded by the Pioneer Library System.
