What’s Been Going On…

There has been lots going on this summer!

We have had a pack of book loving dogs on hand for children to read stories aloud to and lots of children did take advantage of this great opportunity!  In fact, we are hoping to bring back the pooches this fall on Saturdays for more story time fun, so stay tuned!

Adults and teens have had a ball participating in both the “Can You Make It?” challenge and the Adult Summer Reading Program.  The Dessert Social was especially fun with several teens and adults making lots of tantalizing desserts!  We had special gift certificates for those who participated in the dessert challenge (a gift certificate from Nima’s Pizzeria for a scrumptious pizza and one from Soapestella for naturally fragrant and nourishing soaps).
