Banned Books Week 9/27 – 10/3

From September 27th through October 3rd, join us at the Macedon Public Library to celebrate the freedom to read!  We have displays of books that have been banned and challenged throughout history, most of which are part of our circulating collection and are available for you to read (or read again!)

Plus, teens are invited to come to Teen Time this coming Tuesday, 9/29 to make Virtual Read-Out videos as part of the American Library Association’s Banned Books Week activities.  Before the videos can be uploaded to the library’s Youtube page, parental consent forms need to be turned.  The forms are available at the library as well as from this link:   BannedBooksWeekConsentForm  Teen Time runs from 3pm – 5pm.
