Community Concert

Thanks to a grant from the Delavan Foundation, the Macedon Public Library recently hosted a series of songwriting workshops.  The outcome of these workshops is the creation of two original songs.  The first song, “Macedon Public Library,” is about the importance of the library in Macedon.  The second song is a heartfelt tribute called, “Macedon Everyday Heroes.”  The second song thanks all of the people in the community that work to keep people safe, healthy and educated.

There will be other songs performed at the concert, too.  The Bryans will perform one of their own original songs.  Also participants in the songwriting workshops have selected several other familiar tunes to croon.

Everyone involved in these workshops worked very diligently to create these songs.  We hope you will come to the library on Sunday, September 20 at 2 pm to enjoy the music they have collaboratively created!
