Two bills (A.1273 and A.7735-A) are currently on Governor Cuomo’s desk and would provide authorization to two different communities to seek permission from local voters for the formation of special library districts. Last year the Governor vetoed a similar bill, thus disenfranchising local voters. Tell Governor Cuomo that you support local voters right to determine how they wish to structure and fund their own local library. Your message is needed TODAY.
