Thank You!

The Macedon Public Library Board of Trustees has decided to continue on with the Fine Free pilot for another 6 months.  I am elated to report that many people are opting to donate money to our treasure chest in lieu of paying fines.  Also, we are noting an increase in the number of materials being returned that had previously been assumed lost- how fantastic!  We have heard from several patrons who are enjoying the new policy and definitely find it much friendlier than being mandated to pay fines.

Thank you for your support and generosity!  The money we collect in the treasure chest is used to support the purchase of new materials and to help defray the costs of the many programs we offer.
