There is possibly no population that benefits more from libraries than children. Macedon Public Library knows this, and has an extensive children’s collection. Here’s where you can find it:
Our children’s area includes several bookcases jam-packed with books that range from board books for babies to chapter books for early readers. There’s an open play area next to the bookcases, and a room that we call the Discovery Room.
The Discovery Room is a magical place chock-full of toys and games, where children can play, explore, and discover new ways of entertaining themselves while learning new things.
We invite parents to bring their young ones to the library so they can begin to gain an appreciation and understanding of the joys of reading. Even small children can check out books (with their parents’ supervision, of course). Give your child, no matter what their age, the gift of reading—and exploring—at the Macedon Public Library.
