New DVDs: Friday, February 27

Your library frequently receives new DVDs for your viewing, and what better way to start the weekend then with something fresh and new to watch? Nuremberg (blu-ray)

Nuremberg chronicles the eponymous trials held by the Allied Forces against the defeated Nazi regime. The film centers on American psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Rami Malek), who is tasked with determining whether Nazi prisoners are fit to stand trial for their war crimes and finds himself in a complex battle of wits with Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe), Hitler’s right-hand man.

Predator. Badlands

In the future, on a distant planet, a young predator, recently exiled from his native clan, finds an unlikely ally. Together, they soon embark on an extremely dangerous and thorny journey to ultimately find their most fierce and cruel enemy. Reviewers say ‘Predator: Badlands’ offers a unique take on the Predator universe, with strong action, impressive visuals, and a fresh perspective with its focus on the Predator as its protagonist.

Now You See Me, Now You Don’t

The Four Horsemen have returned—to unite with a new generation of illusionists for their most global, high-stakes adventure yet. Their mission: Expose the corruption of Veronika Vanderberg, a powerful diamond heiress with ties to arms dealers, traffickers, and warlords. Aided by legendary magician Thaddeus, the two teams must overcome their differences to try and defeat their cunning and dangerous adversary, in this action-comedy filled with the franchise’s signature twists and turns—and some of the most thrilling illusions ever captured on film.
