Saltcrop

In Earth’s not too distant future, seas consume coastal cities, highways disintegrate underwater, and mutant fish lurk in pirate-controlled depths. Skipper, a skilled sailor and the youngest of three sisters, earns money skimming plastic from the ocean to care for her ailing grandmother. But then her eldest sister, Nora, goes missing. When Skipper and her other sister, Carmen, receive a cryptic plea for help, they must put aside their differences and set out across the sea to find her. But the farther they go, the more uncertain their mission becomes: What dangerous attention did Nora attract, and how well do they really know their sister?

Blood Money

When PC James Harrington is found murdered one night in London, the entire city and the Metropolitan Police are shaken to their core. Less than an hour later, PC Melanie Dyer is found dead in an alleyway. With all efforts being made to find the person responsible, DS Jessica Sutton begins pulling at a thread that soon puts her and her partner in serious danger. But something doesn’t feel right. It’s a feeling shared by Sam Pope, who soon finds himself on a collision course not just with the two detectives, but the dangerous mercenary, Dominik Silva. Someone paid good money to have those officers killed, and is willing to pay even more to ensure that Sam Pope doesn’t find out why.

Under the Storm

On a cold November night in 1994, a farmhouse burns to the ground. Inside, a young woman is found dead—murdered. For ten-year-old Isak Nyqvist, the fire sets in motion something he cannot control, as if a stray spark has found its way inside him. The police quickly focus their attention on Edvard Christensson, the boyfriend of the murdered woman and Isak’s beloved uncle. After a quick investigation where the evidence speaks for itself, Edvard is sentenced to life in prison. Vidar Jörgensson, the rookie police officer who was one of the first responders to the fire, prides himself on having contributed to solving the murder. Little does he know that it will drive him to the brink of professional and personal disaster—and link his fate to Isak’s.
