We Could Be Magic

When Tabitha Laurie was growing up, a visit to Sommerland saved her belief in true love. Now she’s landed her dream job at the theme park’s prestigious summer program, where she can make magical memories for other kids. All she has to do is audition for a coveted princess role, and her dreams will come true. There’s just one problem. The heroes and heroines at Sommerland are all, well… thin. And Tabi simply doesn’t fit the park’s idea of a princess. Given a not-so-regal position at a nacho food stand instead, Tabi is going to need the support of new friends, a new crush, and a whole lot of magic if she’s going to devise her own happily ever after… .

Best of All Worlds

Xavier Oaks doesn’t particularly want to go to the cabin with his dad and his dad’s pregnant new wife, Nia. But family obligations are family obligations, and it’s only for a short time. So he leaves his mom, his brother, and his friends behind for a week in the woods. Only one morning he wakes up and the house isn’t where it was before. It’s like it’s been lifted and placed somewhere else. When Xavier, his dad, and Nia go explore, they find they are inside a dome, trapped. And there’s no one else around. Three years later, another family arrives. Is there any escape? Is there a reason they are stuck where they are? Different people have different answers — and those answers inexorably lead to tension, strife, and sacrifice.

Shampoo Unicorn

In the small town of Canon, West Virginia, most people care about three things: God, country, and football. Brian is more into Drag Race, Dolly Parton, and his gig as one of the mystery hosts of his podcast, Shampoo Unicorn. Greg’s life should be perfect as the town’s super-masc football star, but his secret is he’s just as gay as Brian. Leslie is a trans girl living in nearby Pennsylvania, searching for reasons to get out of bed every day. Her solace is listening to her favorite podcast. . . . When a terrible accident occurs, it’s Shampoo Unicorn that brings the three teens’ lives together. And what begins as a search for answers becomes a story of finding connection.
