MPL Posts Annual Report for 2024

Today we’d like to shine a spotlight on Macedon Public Library’s newly-published Annual Report for 2024. The five-page report highlights some of the facts and figures behind the work done at the facility.

Did you know, for example, that the library houses more than 38,000 print, audio, visual, and non-traditional items that are available for the community? Here are a few other data points to consider:

• The MPL held 1,042 classes, concerts, and presentations in 2024, which were attended by more than 12,000 people.
• Grants and donations to the library totaled more than $32,000. These donations came from places like ALPCO, Walmart, and the Pal-Mac Rotary.
• Friends of the MPL, our own support group, donated funds totalling $11,027, much of which went toward allowing the library to offer presentations at no cost.
• MPL is one of the top ten libraries in the OWWL Library System when measured by the circulation of items, with a total circulation of 73,977.
