All of Us Strangers

A metaphysical exploration of queer love and loneliness, grief and healing, this chamber drama confirms director Andrew Haigh’s gift for bringing complicated emotions to the screen. Isolated in a seemingly empty new high-rise, London screenwriter Adam finds his solitary existence upended when he begins a passionate romance with the impulsive Harry, then reconnects with his parents in a reunion that pushes beyond the limits of time and space. Putting a deeply personal imprint on a novel by Japanese writer Taichi Yamada, Haigh reaches cosmic heights while never losing sight of the story’s achingly human heart.

Watchmen: Chapter 1

In an alternate world history shaped by superheroes, once-celebrated “costumed adventurers” have been banned by a society disenchanted with vigilantism. Now, in 1985, the murder of hero-turned-government operative ‘The Comedian’ draws the attention of ‘Rorschach,’ the last of the outlawed vigilantes. Rorschach’s investigation embroils his retired colleagues ‘Nite Owl,’ ‘Silk Spectre,’ ‘Dr. Manhattan’ and ‘Ozymandias’ in conflict with their pasts, with each other, and in a mystery that threatens their lives and a world on the brink of war.

Dragonkeeper

Dragons, the mystical creatures once revered and loved across the land, are now being hunted to extinction in ancient China. But high on the mountaintops, one young girl’s fiery spirit yearns for rebellion. After she frees the last living dragon from captivity, the unlikely duo sets off on a dangerous mission: to recover the last dragon egg. Tracked at every turn by the armies of the emperor, the pair learn to trust each other and work together. Along the way, they each discover new powers beyond their wildest dreams, unlocking the centuries-old secrets of the Dragonkeeper.
