We are offering the opportunity for older individuals to get their taxes done by trained professionals from the Retired and Senior Volunteer (RSVP) Program. Qualified community members can have their taxes prepared for FREE.
Volunteers will be available on Wednesday afternoons from noon to 4:00 p.m., starting on February 7 and running through April 3. You can drop into the library for a tax prep session. All sessions will be held in the digital privacy booth at the library.
Before your visit, there are two things you will need to do:
- Call the program at (315) 333-4155 ext. 3317 to be sure you qualify (this program is for older adults whose income is limited, and
- ask a staff member at the library for tax prep paperwork that should be completed before your visit.
That’s all you need to do! If you have questions, call the number above to speak to someone who can answer them.
